Scaling and Root Planing
This procedure involves the removal of plaque (soft, sticky, bacteria infested film) and tartar (calculus) deposits that have built up on the teeth, over time.
If the calculus is allowed to accumulate on the teeth, it will, unfortunately, provide the right conditions for bacteria to thrive next to the gums.
The purpose of scaling and root planing (if needed), is basically to leave the surfaces of teeth clean and smooth so that bacteria are unable to stick to them.

Teeth Whitening
FASTER & LESS EXPENSIVE - A fraction of the time and cost of other in-office whitening dental systems or take home trays.
